Wonosobo is a small regency and city in Central Java, Indonesia. Wonosobo lies between 2 mountains, Mount Sindoro and Mount Sumbing, and enjoys cool and humid weather all the time. Like any other small cities in Central Java, Wonosobo is very quiet, peaceful city, and the city life is practically ended at 6-7 pm.
Yogyakarta, or short Yogya is one of the two still excisting traditional royal cities of Central Jawa; the other is Solo. The city is in the centre of a wide belt of fertile ricefields, which are dominated in the north by the smouldering Gunung Merapi (‘Mount Merapi’). Pick up from the airport ( early morning ) or hotel in Jakarta and depart to Bandung via Bogor Botanical Garden and Puncak Tea Plantation. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Puncak Pass. After breakfast, start with the excursion of Bandung. Visit Lembang Fruit market, Tangkuban Perahu Volcano and Ciater Hotspring. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Breakfast at hotel In the morning we will drive to Dieng Plateau to visit the oldest Hindust temple complex in Java, Telaga Warna Colour Lake and Sikidang Crater. Back to Wonosobo for lunch at a local restaurant then proceed to visit Borobudur Temple the most spectacular and worlds biggest Buddhist monument complex. It was built around 800 A.D. Breakfast at hotel Morning tour to visit the Sultan Palace, located in the heart of the old city; the huge palace of the sultans of Yogyakarta was effectively the centre of a small walled city within the city. Over 25,000 people live within the greater Kraton compound, which contains its own market, shops, batik and silver cottage industries, schools and mosques. Afterwards we drive to the Prambanan village to visit the Prambanan Temples. The hindu temple complex was erected in the 9th century while Java was ruled by the Hindu Sanjayas of Old Mataram in the north. The complex consists of 4 major temples/shrines, such as Candi Shiva Mahadeva, Candi Brahma & Candi Vishnu, Candi Nandi as well as the Candi Sewu. The Ramayana story is carved on the walls of the temples. Enough time is given to stroll around and to observe the beautiful relief. Breakfast at the hotel Check out the hotel early morning to catch the morning train to Jombang, (Executive Class) departure at 07:30 from Yogyakarta train station.Lunch box will be served on the train. Direct transfer from Jombang to Kediri visit the old church near the town centre dates back to the early 19th century. The church is half open and built in stone and wood. The unique roof reminds of the Batak houses in Northern Sumatra. Ride on tricycle Becak we explore the town and experience its charm first hand. Early morning will be adventureous. Pick up by jeep starting at 04.00 am to see the beautiful sunrise at Mt. Penanjakan. Descend to cross sand sea to reach Bromo volcano. Back to hotel for breakfast then enjoy free at leisure until the check out time (12:00 standard hotel policy) or directly transfer to the airport to catch your flight to your next destination.
